Il est un peu tard pour le ménage de printemps … mais bon vaut mieux tard que jamais. Aujourd’hui j’ai eu la folle idée de ranger les journaux/magazines qui trainaient chez moi … voilà le résultat :
A l’heure où même les médias, comme la télévision ou la radio, qui étaient sensés être des médias de direct, se font battre par la réactivité de Facebook ou encore plus de Twitter. Quelle est la place aujourd’hui des magazines hebdomadaires ou mensuelles ?
Pour ma part, je n’achète pas de quotidiens car je trouve que pour une information quotidienne on a déjà largement le choix entre 20 Minutes, le Figaro, le NYT, la CNN et France 24, sans compter la radio et la télévision.
Par contre pour ce qui est des magazines j’en ai toujours beaucoup achetés et je continue. J’aime bien l’aspect matériel, il est plus agréable de lire un magazine en vrai que sur un écran. On peut le trimbaler partout, c’est pratique. C’est plus reposant je trouve, que de le lire sur le Mac avec les mails qui arrivent et Twitter qui s’agitent.
D’autre part le magazine fournit un regard plus posé, avec plus de recul, qu’internet, ce qui permet sans doute une analyse plus profonde que le « Breaking News ».
Alors qu’est-ce que je lis, je dirais du High-Tech forcément avec SVM, SVM Mac, un peu d’économie avec Capital, Challenges ou Management, du scientifique avec Sciences et vie, un peu moins souvent Pour la Science. Mais également les voitures 
avec Le Moniteur Automobile pour ses tests complets. Parfois en anglais avec le Time, Newsweek ou Scientific American.
Et vous, avez-vous laché vos journaux ? Que lisez-vous ?
Hey Benjamin! Je vois que je ne suis pas le seul à faire du grand rangement! Et on lit la même chose! héhé! SVM, Capital, Sciences et Vie, Le moniteur auto…à cela je rajouterais Courrier International, Le moniteur des pharmacies, Marianne, L’Express et UFC Que choisir.
J’espère bien, personnellement, que les journaux plaisent encore aux étudiants… Sinon toutes mes démarches préparatrices au lancement de notre journal sur Montpellier seront vaines!
