J’utilisais jusqu’à maintenant la webmail d’OVH pour recevoir les mails de ce blog. Mais la redirection vers mon adresse principale prenez parfois du temps, la synchro de l’état de lecture ne se faisait pas et les spams n’étaient pas filtrés (ou peu) et c’est le pire, les spams en push-mail ça devient très vite énervant !
J’ai donc décidé de passer à Google Apps ! Voilà comment faire !
Il existe des versions payantes mais la version gratuite propose déjà de créer 50 adresses de 7 Go, Google Agenda et Google Documents, ça me suffit largement !
Il faut aller sur la page de la Google Apps Edition Standard. L’étape suivante est de fournir un nom de domaine ou d’en acheter un pour 10 $ par an. Il faut ensuite fournir les informations lié à la création du compte.
Une fois l’inscription terminée, il est nécessaire de vérifier que l’on est bien le propriétaire du nom de domaine, deux solutions sont proposées : soit en transférant un fichier sur le FTP soit en créant un enregistrement CNAME en allant dans le panneau de gestion de votre registrar. (La société qui héberge votre nom de domaine).
Maintenant, nous allons activer la partie GMail. C’est le plus long. Cliquez sur Activer la messagerie électronique dans le Tableau de Bord
- Se connecter à son compte chez la société qui héberge votre domaine
- Aller dans les enregistrements MX (Chez OVH c’est dans la Zone DNS)
- A partir de maintenant nous allons rendre indisponible votre adresse mail, soyez prudent, sauvegardez tous les mails avant !
- Supprimez les enregistrements MX.
- Créez de nouveaux champs MX selon les informations données par Google. Les chiffres des priorités ne correspondent pas, ce n’est pas important, il faut seulement garder l’ordre.
Chez OVH, il faut cocher la case Forcer l’opération pour que ça marche.
- Cliquez sur J’ai suivi cette procédure. Il faut maintenant attendre que les serveurs de Google se mettent à jour. J’ai voulu configurer le compte mail dans Mail.app mais le compte est apparu déconnecté pendant quelques heures, idem sur Nokia Mail, le serveur apparaissait déconnecté. Ne vous prenez pas la tête, laissez le temps faire !
Mais n’oubliez pas d’activer l’IMAP dans les paramètres de GMail !
On peut également configurer l’adresse d’accès au webmail :
- Dans le Tableau de bord, cliquez sur E-mail. Puis Modifiez l’url.
- Choisissez le sous domaine que vous souhaitez pour accéder au webmail
- Retournez dans votre compte de la société qui héberge votre nom de domaine, dans le partie DNS.
- Créez une entrée de type CNAME, avec votre sous-domaine choisi et comme valeur de destination : ghs.google.com
- Cliquez sur J’ai suivi cette procédure. Là encore patientez quelques heures avant que les redirections se fassent.
Vous pouvez faire la même chose pour Agenda et Documents.
Voilà vous avez maintenant des comptes mails avec votre nom de domaine couplés à la puissance de votre GMail chéri ! Cool, non ?
C’est vrai que c’est cool mais ça nous rend encore plus dépendants de Google tout ça! C’est du vrai monopole!

LOL !! Sinon, j’utilise Gmail pour les mails perso (FB, Twitter…), le webmail Free pour mon adresse « familiale » et sinon j’ai paramétré Mail (L’app mac) pour recevoir les mails de mon blog. C’est une organisation un peu complexe mais rudement efficace!

Euh pas vraiment je crois que c’est pire :
Donc j’ai 4 comptes GMail (2 « normales » :une principale et une pour remplir les formulaires quand je veux pas filer mon nom, ainsi que 2 Google Apps : le blog et un autre site). Les adresses sont redirigées vers la GMail principale, où elles sont filtrées pour être archivées directement. (C’est juste pour accéder à tous les messages rapidement et pouvoir rechercher dans toutes les boites d’un coup même sans avoir le mac sous la main)
Sur le mac, j’ai Mail avec tous les comptes configurés en IMAP pour gérer les états de lecture et le marquage des messages. Et j’ai en plus une vieille adresse chez Orange, que je garde surtout par habitude, et qui m’apporte un max de spams. (Merci à eux pour le non filtrage !)
Les 3 adresses GMail sont aussi configurées sur le téléphone pour le push-mail et sur l’iPod Touch.
C’est siiiimmple, hein !?
A l’usage c’est pas compliqué, car tout communique ensemble !
